La Bella Sirena is located 4 hours south east of San Jose in the Gandoca Manzanillo wildlife refuge. On our property we have many flowers, fruit and giant Rainforest trees. Just a short walk along the road to town leads to a tranquil, uncrowded beach, featuring the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. The best snorkeling in the area can be found right offshore; no need to hire a boat. After swimming or snorkeling, kick back and enjoy a cool drink or a snack from one of the local sodas.

Manzanillo (1K) is a small fishing village with restaurants, grocers, a dive shop and a boutique. Town children play Soccer on the beach day and night, rain or shine, in front of Maxi's famous seafood restaurant.

IN THE AREA:
Nearby you'll find many other points of interest. The Caribbean coast is dotted with interesting towns, rivers, surf beaches, reggae music, and national parks.
